After going another hundred rounds with nano banana, I finally presented the basics of flashing in a very friendly way, producing what I believe to be a beginner-friendly teaching document. What Does Root Actually Mean?

Many years ago, when smartphones were just emerging, phone performance was weak, and Android didn't have a single app installation entry point like Apple to ensure app quality, which gave a large number of rogue software a chance to run rampant. When you installed one app, it would automatically install a whole family of rogue apps (like that browser with a numerical name back then, I think it was called 2345 or something). If you had a smart brain, nimble hands, and time you couldn't get rid of, learning to Root would let you enjoy both a low-priced Android phone and an experience no less than Apple's.

Now, so many years later, Android phone hardware manufacturers keep competing — from processors to screens, to fast charging that easily tops a hundred watts, to xxx-hundred-megapixel cameras — and every phone already has its own official app store. The app ecosystem is nothing like it used to be. So what is the meaning of Root today? Forgive my shallowness, but I think 30% of people might be doing it to fight cloud control, to stop manufacturers from pulling these underhanded tricks to make us upgrade our phones when they release new models every year; 70% might just be for cheating in games, cracking programs, and the like. Yeah, people's pursuit of getting things for free is etched into their basic DNA.
